The Hershey Company is seeking a Production Supervisor at its plant in Monterrey, NL, MX. You will lead production execution for assigned lines, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity while guiding a unionized workforce and coordinating cross-functional partners.

You will drive the production plan, monitor efficiency, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through Hershey Lean practices.

Formación

• Experience supervising production teams in manufacturing settings.
• Experience with unionized workforces is preferred.
• Familiarity with TPM, Lean Management, Six Sigma or similar manufacturing systems.
• Intermediate English proficiency.

• Lead production execution for assigned lines, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Deliver the production plan by managing volume, mix, and OEE targets.
• Ensure accurate end-of-shift reporting on finished goods, waste, and downtime.
• Oversee workforce administration, attendance, and training plans.
• Collaborate with Warehouse, Maintenance, Quality, Planning, Finance, and cross-functional teams.
• Drive continuous improvement projects across safety, quality, and productivity.

How will you fit in the big picture?
You will lead production execution for assigned lines, helping deliver volume and mix commitments at standard cost while advancing safety, quality, food safety, and Hershey Lean practices. You will directly guide a unionized workforce, connect quickly with cross-functional partners, and balance immediate operating needs with people development and continuous improvement.

What will you do?

• Lead safe, compliant operations by reinforcing environmental, health and safety programs, good manufacturing practices, HACCP requirements, operating standards, housekeeping, and timely correction of quality or food-safety deviations.
• Deliver the production plan by managing volume, mix conformance, efficiency, OEE2, waste, rework, and overweight through Hershey Lean methods, with emphasis on CIL, centerlines, and defect management.
• Ensure end-of-shift production information is complete and accurate, including finished-product LPNs, rework, waste, returns, material requirements, overweight reporting, and downtime data.
• Lead workforce administration and readiness by reviewing attendance and time-related incidents, maintaining standard crewing, supporting annual training plans, and reinforcing operating discipline.
• Partner with Warehouse, Maintenance, Sanitation, Quality, Planning, Finance, EHS, Engineering, Operational Excellence, Human Resources, corporate teams, and suppliers as applicable.
• Participate in improvement projects across safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity, and support execution of the Autonomous Maintenance pillar.
  

Minimum Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or related operations, including experience supervising or leading production teams. Experience with unionized workforces and with TPM, Lean Management, Six Sigma, or comparable manufacturing systems is preferred.
• Education: Engineering degree or equivalent technical preparation. Intermediate English proficiency.
