System Test Engineer – BMS

Job summary

Global Connect Technologies is seeking a System Test Engineer with strong BMS testing experience to perform system-level validation, HIL/SIL testing, diagnostics, communication testing, and fault-injection testing.

You will analyze requirements, develop test specs, execute functional tests on BMS features (cell voltage, SoC, SoH, SoP, protection, charging/discharging), validate CAN/CAN FD, and contribute to automation and traceability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
• Non-engineering backgrounds are not eligible.

Responsibilities

• Analyze BMS system and software requirements and derive verification criteria.
• Develop and maintain system test specifications, test procedures, and test reports.
• Perform functional testing of BMS features, including: Cell voltage monitoring, SoC, SoH, SoP, battery protection, charging and discharging.
• Perform ECU and system-level testing using HIL/SIL environments.
• Validate BMS behavior under normal, boundary, and fault conditions.
• Perform fault-injection testing involving sensor faults, communication failures, and electrical faults.
• Test vehicle communication using CAN/CAN FD.
• Monitor CAN signals and validate CAN messages.
• Perform UDS diagnostic testing, including DTC validation, diagnostic services, and fault recovery.
• Analyze CAN logs, diagnostic traces, and test results to identify root causes.
• Automate BMS test cases where applicable.
• Maintain bi-directional traceability between system requirements and test cases.
• Participate in requirements reviews, test reviews, and issue-resolution discussions.
• Work closely with system, software, hardware, and FuSa teams.
• Support test coverage analysis and release/readiness reporting.
