Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a BMS Model-Based Development (MBD) Developer to design, simulate, and validate battery management control algorithms for automotive battery systems.

You will develop BMS algorithms using Model-Based Design with MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow, perform MIL/SIL testing, and support auto-code generation and integration with embedded software. Collaboration across cross-functional teams will ensure robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in automotive embedded software / BMS development.
• Strong hands-on experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow.
• Experience with Model-Based Design (MBD) and MIL/SIL.
• Knowledge of BMS, battery systems, SOC/SOH estimation, diagnostics, or battery controls.
• Experience with C/C++ and embedded software development.
• Understanding of CAN/CAN FD and automotive communication.
• Experience with Simulink code generation / Embedded Coder.
• Familiarity with ASPICE is preferred.

• Spanish and English communication skills preferred.
