Steelcase Inc. is seeking a mid-to-senior interior designer to translate client needs into thoughtful design solutions. You will lead design development for high-profile accounts and balance strategic thinking with customer engagement across projects.

Collaborate with sales, engineering, dealers, and architects to deliver outcomes that meet customer goals. The role requires presenting design concepts, developing documentation, and guiding projects from concept through implementation.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• 3–4 years of experience in interior/ workplace design, full-time.
• Experience presenting design solutions to customers.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Experience leading design efforts for large or strategic client accounts.
• Strong listening skills to translate customer needs into design solutions.
• Ability to create client-facing presentations and deliverables.
• Capacity to build relationships with clients, sales teams, dealers, and partners.

You'll Support Meaningful Work By:

• Leading design development and strategic product selection for large, high-profile client accounts, delivering solutions that align with customer goals and business objectives.
• Managing multiple complex projects simultaneously, guiding deliverables from concept through implementation while balancing quality, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
• Collaborating with sales teams, engineering partners, dealers, architects, designers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to create successful project outcomes.

• Developing design documentation, presentations, standards, training materials, and project deliverables that support successful execution across teams and partners.
• Identifying risks, solving complex challenges, and creating innovative solutions that address evolving customer and project needs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• 3-4years of experience in interior design, workplace design, or a related design field as a fulltime.
• Experience working directly with customers and presenting design solutions.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and coordinating competing priorities.
• Experience leading design efforts for large, complex, or strategic client accounts.
• Strong listening skills with the ability to translate customer needs into thoughtful design solutions.
• Experience creating presentations, design documentation, standards, and client-facing deliverables.
• Ability to build strong relationships and establish credibility with clients, sales teams, dealers, and cross-functional partners.
