Job summary

Capgemini Engineering, the world leader in engineering services, seeks a Jr Virtual Analysis Engineer for on-site work in CDMX. You will analyze suspension/steering sub-systems, perform handling assessments, and develop/validate multi-body simulation models using ADAMS/Car, MATLAB, and other tools.

Required is a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering. You will contribute to simulator studies and mule tuning analytics while benefiting from flexible career opportunities and a collaborative

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.
• Experience with suspension/steering/brake kinematics and vibration studies.
• Experience with simulation tools: ADAMS/Car, Altair Hyperworks, NASTRAN, CARSIM, VI-Car realtime, Matlab.
• Ability to develop custom routines (Visual Basic, ADAMS scripts, Matlab) to support process enhancement preferred.
• Familiarity with DFMEA and NX/Teamcenter/CoDeP for component extraction.
• Self-starter with good problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize suspension/steering sub-systems' kinematics and compliance.
• Assess handling behavior and calculate loads for various events.
• Simulate ride events and characterize performance (frequency, ride harshness).
• Develop/validate full vehicle/sub-system simulation models (ADAMS/Car, CARSIM, VI-Car realtime, NASTRAN).
• Develop models remotely and provide on-site support for driving studies.
• Plan analytical support for mule tuning activities.
• Create new CAE/simulation processes as needed.
