Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Virtual Analysis Engineer in Vehicle Dynamics to lead CAE/virtual analysis activities for steering and suspension hardpoints, stiffness and ride/handling optimization across vehicle variants.

You will develop models (multibody and finite element where needed), simulate ride events, and support driving simulator studies, with tools including ADAMS/Car, CARSIM, VI-Car RealTime, HyperWorks, NASTRAN and MATLAB.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
Experience with suspension/steering/brake system dynamics and ride/handling analysis.
Proficiency with CAE tools: ADAMS/Car, HyperWorks, NASTRAN, CARSIM, VI-Car RealTime, and MATLAB.
Ability to develop custom routines (e.g., MATLAB, ADAMS) to support processes.
Familiarity with DFMEA and extracting component data from NX/Teamcenter.

Responsibilities

Lead CAE/virtual analysis activities for steering/suspension hardpoints and ride performance.
Simulate and optimize vehicle dynamics across variants to meet design objectives.
Develop and validate full-vehicle and sub-system models (multi-body, NFEM) and run simulations.
Support driving simulator studies on-site and remotely as needed.
Provide design recommendations to minimize sensitivity to road and wear variations.
