SWBC is seeking a talented Tax Analyst to handle Surplus Lines tax compliance, blending analytical skills with regulatory knowledge in the specialized insurance tax arena. This role offers growth for individuals who enjoy detailed analysis and a collaborative team environment.

You will prepare monthly surplus lines submissions for assigned states, reconcile tax reports to the general ledger, and prepare quarterly or annual tax reports, stamping fee invoices, and payments, while maintaining

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 0–1 year of experience in premium accounting or tax accounting.
• Ability to analyze and prioritize multiple responsibilities under strict deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent planning, organization and follow-up abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares surplus lines tax accounts monthly reconciliation and coordinates with data control to correct any set-up, programming, or downloading errors.
• Prepares stamping fee invoices and submission for payment.

Serious Candidates Will Possess The Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Zero to one (0-1) years of experience in premium accounting or tax accounting.
• Ability to analyze and prioritize multiple responsibilities under strict deadlines.
• Self-motivated problem solver with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong planning, organization, and follow up skills.
