Jabil in Monterrey area seeks a quality/manufacturing engineer to monitor supplier quality issues and communicate status on non-conforming parts across programs. You will evaluate supplier performance and guide inspection processes at the site.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 2–4 years in Quality or Manufacturing. You will interact with Receiving Inspection, MRB, and customers, performing audits and driving corrective actions while complying with safety rules.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 2–4 years in Quality or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and data.
• Experience with inspection plans and supplier audits is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the focal person for commodity related quality and functional issues.
• Ensure production critical supplier issues are resolved promptly and corrective actions are implemented.
• Provide guidance on Inspection Plans and Inspection Methods.
• Maintain ongoing supplier evaluation using Receiving Inspection, MRB, and SCAR data.
• Perform supplier audits in coordination with Corporate SQE.
• Provide documentation to perform inspection of components per Inspection Plans in SAP.
• Monitor PPM and drive Dock to Stock improvements.
• Drive supplier selection strategies across programs for cost savings.
• Communicate information to all affected departments.
• Adhere to safety rules and security policies.
