ZKW Group GmbH in Silao, Guanajuato is looking for a full-time Supplier Quality Engineer. You will ensure the quality of purchased parts from development to end-of-life, preparing inspection reports and collaborating on projects. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, a degree in engineering, and knowledge of core tools like PPAP and FMEA. Formación

• 5 years’ experience in the automotive industry as a Supplier Quality Engineer or equivalent.
• Experience in APQP and project management.
• General knowledge of IATF16949:2016.

Responsabilidades

• Preparing inspection reports in the course of complaint management.
• Defining features for sorting activities in case of claims.
• Assessing the supplier’s 8D report and determining further measures.

MAIN GOAL:

Ensuring the quality of purchased parts in the project and series phase from the start of development to the end of life.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparing inspection reports in the course of complaint management.
• Definition of features for sorting activities in case of claims.
• Organization of inventory controlling.
• Assessing the supplier’s 8D report and determining further measures (blocking, 100% sorting, etc.).
• MPP- monitoring in project phase.
• Approval of supplier’s production quality concept (FMEA, test schedule, …).
• Examination of specification of sample parts.
• Execution of suppliers’ process sign offs and run&rates.
• Checking the inspection instructions for incoming goods inspection at suppliers.
• Approval of initial samples.
• Collaboration and defining test equipments at suppliers.
• Support in updating and/or revising ZKW quality requirements.
• Collaboration on projects in the line/department.
• Assessment of purchased parts.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

• Engineering degree (Mechatronic, industrial, electronic) or equivalent.
• Work experience: 5 years’ experience on automotive industry like Supplier quality engineer or equivalent (minimum).
• Experience in APQP and project management.
• Experience using core tools (PPAP, Control plan, FMEA, MSA & SPC).
• Experience in problem solving.
• General Knowledge IATF16949:2016
• Ability to deal with conflicts and pressure
• Communication
