Vertiv is seeking a Supplier Development Engineer to evaluate and develop key suppliers, ensuring on-time delivery, cost targets, and continuous improvement. The role serves as a technical liaison between Vertiv Procurement and suppliers, driving performance and mutual growth.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or Supply Chain, with 7+ years in supplier development or related fields, and Lean/Six Sigma certification.

Formación

• 7+ years’ experience in supplier development, industrial/manufacturing engineering or supplier quality
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing, capacity planning, and quality systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949)
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification is highly preferred
• Proven experience driving suppliers’ lead time improvement strategies and conducting audits

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate existing and new suppliers based on capability, capacity, cost, flexibility, quality, and operating system.
• Validate suppliers’ supply chains and capacity to improve on-time delivery and delivery flexibility.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with standards.
• Drive continuous improvement through supplier world-class processes and KPIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve delivery issues and implement corrective actions.
• Lead supplier development projects aligned with Vertiv’s objectives.
