Job summary

Milwaukee Tool seeks a Supplier Development Engineer to strengthen our strategic supplier network by developing manufacturing capabilities, improving supplier performance, and ensuring long-term readiness to support growth.

The role leads cross-functional efforts across Procurement, Supplier Quality, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Planning to enhance capability, capacity, quality, and delivery performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering as specified in the job post.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing, supplier development, or related experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assess supplier manufacturing capability, capacity, and maturity.
• Validate supplier readiness for new product launches and engineering changes.
• Identify constraints and develop supplier capability roadmaps.
• Lead supplier recovery and performance improvement initiatives.
• Drive sustainable corrective actions and verify effectiveness.
• Improve supplier delivery, quality, and productivity.
• Evaluate capacity against future demand.
• Identify bottlenecks and support expansion/localization.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across Procurement, SQE, Engineering, Operations, Supply Planning, and suppliers.
• Assess supplier risks and develop mitigation plans.
