Job summary

Vertiv is a global leader in data center solutions seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee production operations. You will provide leadership to heighten output, ensure safety, and drive on-time delivery in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires strong collaboration with Production Manager, Engineers, Logistics and QA, along with a proven track record in achieving KPIs and implementing continuous improvement across high-volume lines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP electronic production control systems.
• Proven track record of leading to production targets in a customer-focused company.
• Strong KPI background to meet business goals.
• Extensive people management, training, performance reviews, and engagement.
• Health & safety awareness in a factory environment.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills.
• Daily collaboration with Production Manager, Scheduler Leaders, Team Lead Support, Project Engineers, Logistics and Stores to meet deadlines.

• Conduct disciplinary meetings, return-to-work interviews and team reviews.

Job description

• A minimum of 5 years of supervision / Management experience in a Production / manufacturing environment.
• Experience in ERP/MRP electronic production control systems.
• Proven track record of providing leadership to achieve production targets within a customer-focused company.
• Strong background of working to industry standard KPIs that assist with meeting business goals.
• Extensive experience in people management requirements, from identifying training needs/performance assessment to maximizing output, dispute resolution, and employee engagement processes.
• Demonstrated record of Health & Safety awareness within a factory environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and communicate effectively at all levels.
• Communicate daily with Production Manager, Scheduler Team Leaders, Team Lead Support, Project Engineers, Logistics, and stores personnel to ensure deadlines are met and products shipped on time.
• Conduct disciplinary meetings, return-to-work interviews and reviews with the team.

Qualifications

• Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a supervisory position.
• Have a recognized mechanical or electrical qualification desired

• Experience in setting up high-volume production lines.
