About the Role

Our client, a major international logistics firm, is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Border Transportation Operations Supervisor to lead their operations in the Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua region. This is a remote-first position, allowing you to manage and oversee critical cross-border transportation activities from your home office. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and compliant movement of goods between Mexico and the United States, coordinating with carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cross-border logistics, transportation regulations on both sides of the border, and possess excellent leadership and problem-solving skills. This role requires a proactive approach to managing complex logistical challenges and ensuring seamless operations for our international clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cross-border transportation operations, ensuring timely and secure movement of freight.

Requirements

• Significant experience (5+ years) in transportation management, with a strong focus on cross-border logistics (Mexico-US).
• In-depth knowledge of Mexican and US transportation regulations, customs procedures, and border crossing requirements.
• Proven experience in managing carriers and negotiating transportation rates.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong analytical abilities with experience in analyzing transportation data and KPIs.
• Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and related software.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage complex operations in a remote setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field is highly preferred.
• Must have a reliable internet connection and a suitable home office environment for remote work.
