• Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) or similar logistics software.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all inbound and outbound transportation activities.
• Select and manage relationships with carriers, negotiating rates and service level agreements.
• Track shipments from origin to destination, providing real-time updates to stakeholders.
• Resolve transportation-related issues, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies.
• Ensure all shipments comply with relevant transportation regulations and documentation requirements.
• Optimize transportation routes and modes to minimize costs and delivery times.
• Maintain accurate records of all transportation activities and costs.
• Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to ensure seamless coordination of shipments.
• Analyze transportation data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare reports on transportation performance and costs.
