About the Role

Our client, a leading technology firm with a global footprint, is expanding its operations and seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Especialista en Logística Remota Global . This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing international supply chains, ensuring the seamless flow of goods and information across multiple borders. You will play a crucial role in coordinating with international suppliers, carriers, and customs brokers to overcome logistical challenges and achieve operational excellence. We are looking for an individual with a deep understanding of global trade and a passion for remote collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end international logistics processes, including import and export operations.
• Coordinate with global suppliers, manufacturers, and distribution centers to ensure timely shipments.
• Oversee the selection and management of international freight forwarders and carriers.
• Ensure compliance with all international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
• Analyze international logistics costs and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks associated with global supply chains.
• Utilize advanced logistics software and tools to track shipments and manage inventory globally.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams (e.g., procurement, sales) and external partners across different time zones.
• Prepare detailed reports on global logistics performance and key metrics.
• Provide remote support and guidance to regional logistics teams as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in global logistics and supply chain management.
• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
• Proven experience in managing international freight forwarding and ocean/air cargo.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in global logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to a global work environment.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is required; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
• Must be comfortable and effective working in a 100% remote setting.
