Flextronics, located in Guadalajara, Mexico, is seeking an Operations Manager to lead manufacturing shifts, oversee staff, and drive improvements across systems and processes. The role emphasizes achieving KPIs on volume, quality, and cost while ensuring ISO and safety standards are met.

The ideal candidate has prior experience as a Production Superintendent, knowledge of Lean tools (5S, 4Q), and strong leadership of cross-functional teams. Fluency in English at an intermediate level is required.

Formación

• Experience as a Production Superintendent.
• Knowledge of 5S methodology and Lean Manufacturing.
• Experience supervising direct personnel and engineering teams (CFTs).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with SMT, Backend, and Box Build processes.
• English: intermediate level.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and direct manufacturing operations for a shift or group of production lines to hit volume, quality, and cost goals.
• Manage staffing and inventory to support production plans.
• Supervise production staff on methods and quality checkpoints.
• Coordinate with other departments and Flex sites to drive excellence.
• Implement HR strategies to recruit and retain a qualified workforce.
• Provide product training to manufacturing/process engineers and support supply chain initiatives.
