MAHLE in Monterrey, Mexico seeks a Metrology Leader to ensure product quality through dimensional analyses and reliable measuring instruments. You will oversee calibration, maintenance of master standards, and execution of conformity tests.

The role requires 5 years in metrology, CMM knowledge, APQP understanding, and intermediate English. Collaboration with suppliers and cross-functional teams is essential.

Formación

• Mechanical Engineer or related field.
• Technical knowledge of specific customer requirements and APQP methodology.
• 5 years of experience in Metrology.
• Knowledge of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and associated software.
• Intermediate English proficiency.

Your Contribution

As a Metrology Leader you will be responsible for ensuring product quality by conducting dimensional analyses of the products and ensure the reliability of the measuring instruments used to verify the product's condition.

• Maintain master standards, gauges, fixtures, and measuring equipment in good condition.
• Calibrate and control measuring equipment.
• Conduct dimensional studies on manufactured products.
• Execute the annual product measurement plan, conformity tests, and customer approval runs.
• Conduct Repeatability and Reproducibility studies on measuring equipment.
• Dealing with equipment suppliers.
