Job summary

IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences, is seeking a seasoned Commercial leader to head the regional organization in Mexico. Based in Tlalnepantla (Hybrid), you will drive sustainable growth, lead a high-performing team, and shape market impact across the food and beverage portfolio.

You will partner with R&D, Operations, Marketing and other functions to deliver integrated customer solutions, manage P&L, pricing, forecasting, and long-term supply

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in food/beverage flavors/ingredients or related industries.
• 5+ years of people leadership, including coaching and performance management.
• Strong financial acumen with P&L management, pricing, forecasting.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive growth in complex markets.
• Experience building executive-level relationships with customers.

Where You'll Make a Difference

• Lead the commercial organization across the region/sub-region, driving sustainable and profitable business growth aligned with strategic priorities.
• Develop and execute regional commercial strategies that expand market presence, strengthen customer partnerships, and accelerate revenue growth.
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers, positioning IFF as a trusted innovation partner.
• Lead complex commercial negotiations, including pricing strategies, contracts, and long-term supply agreements.
• Own regional profit and loss (P&L) performance, delivering against revenue, margin, and expense targets.
• Partner closely with Research & Development, Operations, Marketing, and other functions to provide integrated customer solutions and win in the marketplace.
• Drive operational excellence through portfolio optimization, complexity reduction, disciplined execution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver customer innovation programs, strategic growth initiatives, and business transformation projects.
• Develop a high-performing commercial organization through coaching, succession planning, talent development, and inclusive leadership.

What Makes You The Right Fit

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant experience within the food, beverage, flavors, ingredients, consumer goods, or related industries.
• Proven success leading commercial organizations and delivering measurable business growth in complex markets.
• Minimum of 5 years of people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and organizational development.
• Strong financial acumen with demonstrated experience managing P&L performance, pricing strategy, forecasting, and profitability.
• Experience building trusted relationships and influencing stakeholders at senior executive levels.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer trends, regulatory requirements, and sustainability initiatives within the industry.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and translate strategy into actionable business plans and commercial results.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills in a global business environment.
