HKS is seeking a Studio Practice Leader for Mission Critical in Mexico City. You will manage the studio, lead multiple project teams, and drive the design and delivery of high-impact solutions for complex building types.

You will mentor designers, coordinate with leadership, and ensure alignment with strategic priorities. The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and client engagement, with responsibilities across programming, design development and project delivery, while advancing

Formación

• Accredited professional degree in Architecture, Interior Design, related field, or equivalent education/experience
• Licensure or certification in chosen field preferred
• Typically 15+ years of experience with leadership in design projects and talent/resource development
• Significant experience in the studio's practice area
• Sustainable design accreditation preferred
• Familiarity with design-related software such as Vision; MS Office Suite including Project and Teams preferred
• Proficiency in logistics management and coordinating people/resources across projects
• Strong presentation, leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects with a collaborative leadership style
• Travel willingness required

Responsabilidades

• Oversee projects assigned to the studio, focusing on process, delivery, environment and documentation
• Lead strategic planning and resource allocation with studio/office leadership
• Collaborate with office leadership to align with firm priorities and marketing
• Guide teams through programming, schematic design, design development and delivery
• Mentor designers, provide design direction and lead critiques to ensure high-quality documentation
• Serve as primary client interface and manage expectations, communications and consultants
• Monitor staffing, utilization and growth, and manage studio financials and operations
• Partner with leadership to integrate HKS services, best practices and sustainable design solutions
• Represent the firm in client meetings, proposals and internal reviews
