HKS, Inc. is seeking a Studio Practice Leader to manage the studio and lead multiple project teams focused on design, development and delivery of outstanding solutions for their practice area. You will execute the studio strategy and oversee projects to ensure top-quality documentation and client satisfaction.

The role emphasizes leadership growth, collaboration, and relationship-building while delivering great projects for exceptional clients across the studio’s portfolio.

Formación

• Accredited architecture/related degree or equivalent years in education/experience.
• Licensure or certification in field preferred.
• 15+ years of experience including leadership in project work and talent/resource development.
• Significant experience in the studio’s practice area.
• Sustainable design accreditation preferred.
• Familiarity with design software and Vision.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Project and Teams.
• Ability to manage logistics and connect people/resources.
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management.
• Proven track record in building client relationships and delivering design concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the studio’s projects, focusing on process, delivery, environment and documentation.
• Support strategic planning and resource allocation with studio leadership.
• Partner with leadership to achieve firm, sector, and office goals.
• Lead the design process from programming through delivery with clients.
• Guide and mentor designers, fostering design direction and critiques.
• Interface with clients, understanding goals, policies and progress.
• Manage client expectations and coordination with consultants.
• Monitor staffing, utilization and growth across the studio.
• Ensure efficiency of business and financial operations for the studio.
• Act as a technical resource and resolve complex problems.
