Gensler is seeking a senior designer leader in Mexico City to guide design projects from concept through construction administration. You will collaborate with Practice Area Leaders to elevate design quality and build strong client recognition while mentoring team members across all project phases.

The role demands extensive experience in architecture, exceptional communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel within a dynamic studio culture at Gensler.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture.
• 10+ years of project experience in an architectural practice.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction regulations, building codes, and zoning codes.
• Significant, demonstrable experience leading teams to deliver projects through all stages, including Construction Administration.
• Experience with Revit, Rhino, BIM 360, Bluebeam Revu, and MS Office.
• Proven knowledge of construction codes and regulations.
• Experience leading and mentoring multiple project teams in technical delivery concurrently.
• Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead and mentor.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the creative efforts of design projects (under the supervision of the Design Director).
• Collaborate with Practice Area Leaders to enhance design excellence and client recognition.
• Utilize experience with all phases of design project deliverables from Concept to Construction Administration.
• Work independently or with minimal oversight across programming, conceptual design, schematic design, and documentation.
• Produce mood, material, and design presentations independently or with minimal supervision.
• Oversee furniture plans, specifications, materials, and schedules for construction documentation.
