Job summary

TripleTen is an EdTech company focused on tech career learning for the US and Latin American markets. We are seeking a Student Retention Specialist to engage students, boost retention, and ensure satisfaction while supporting English-speaking learners.

You will build relationships, identify challenges, and drive proactive support to help students stay motivated and complete their educational goals in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Retention, Customer Success, Sales, or another customer-facing role.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong empathy, active listening, and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable working in a target-driven environment and meeting performance goals.
• Resilient, adaptable, and able to stay calm and solution-oriented in challenging conversations.
• Experience using CRM platforms to manage customer interactions and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Engage with students through retention-focused calls and chats, addressing refund and cancellation requests with empathy and professionalism.
• Identify underlying reasons for student dissatisfaction and provide personalized solutions to improve experience and commitment.
• Manage renewal and recurring payment conversations, proactively reaching out to support extensions and continued enrollment.
• Consistently meet or exceed weekly retention and renewal performance goals.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all student interactions within CRM systems.
• Participate in call reviews, coaching sessions, and development initiatives to enhance performance and outcomes.
