Job Summary

Job summary: To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Intern located in Aguascalientes Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, the Process Engineering Intern role involves supporting manufacturing and continuous improvement activities within the PCBA production area. The student will collaborate with process engineers in data analysis, process documentation, equipment and tooling management, yield improvement initiatives, preventive maintenance tracking, and implementation of process controls to support operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

What a typical day looks like:

• Support Process Engineers in daily manufacturing operations and technical projects.
• Collect, analyze, and present production data, yield performance, and process metrics.
• Assist in the development and update of work instructions, procedures, process flows, and visual aids.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions related to manufacturing issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Assist in the monitoring and tracking of tooling, wave solder pallets, stencils, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Support implementation and validation of process changes.
• Create reports, charts, and dashboards to facilitate decision making.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Manufacturing Engineering teams.
• Participate in process audits, line observations, and improvement projects.
• Maintain engineering documentation and records according to company procedures.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Active student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in: Industrial Engineering Electronics Engineering Mechatronics Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical Engineering Related Engineering fields
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of data analysis and problem-solving tools is a plus.
• Basic understanding of electronic manufacturing (PCBA) is desirable.
• English proficiency: Intermediate.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Teamwork orientation and willingness to learn.
