Flex is seeking a Process Engineering Technician in Aguascalientes to support extraordinary teams building great products. Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineer, you will handle stations design, car kits design, training, continuous improvement, failure analysis, repair and rework units, line tune up, and checklist follow up.

Daily duties include designing, testing, and implementing manufacturing systems; analyzing and correcting technical issues; following scrap and best practices; validating

• Experience with failure analysis and root-cause investigation.
• Experience in line standardization and process alignment.
• Familiarity with traceability systems in manufacturing.
• Basic Excel knowledge for data tracking.
• Proactive and responsible team member.
• Experience with assembly and packaging processes.
• Ability to interpret 2D and 3D drawings.

Job summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Process Engineering Technician located in Aguascalientes. Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineering Technician role involves activities of the manufacturing engineering department such as, stations design, car kits design, training, continuous improvement, failure analysis, repair and rework units, line tune up, checklist follow up.

What a typical day looks like

• Duties performed in this role vary depending on the business unit, location or product being manufactured. Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
• Determines requirements, designs, builds, tests, and implements, maintains, and enhances business systems
• Analyses, detects, identifies, and corrects technical problems and deficiencies
• Scrap and best practice follow up.
• Line validation to check the best conditions for the product (standardization).
• ESD controls validation (workbench and routing).
• knowledge of time and motion
• interpretation of drawings
