JITECH Inc in Mérida, Mexico seeks a Structural Steel Detailing Estimator to support quoting and scope-change activities within the Sales & Marketing team.

The role reviews bid documents, performs material take-offs, and prepares accurate quotes, while tracking ECNs and work tickets to document scope changes and pricing. Strong analytical skills and familiarity with SDS2 and Bluebeam are required. Proficiency in Excel and Word, plus effective communication in English, are essential.

Formación

• Associate degree or higher in Construction Management or related field.
• 2–4 years experience in structural steel detailing or estimating.
• Experience taking-offs and pricing from bid documents.
• Ability to read structural and architectural drawings and revisions.
• Familiarity with SDS2 and Bluebeam is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Review bid drawings and specs to determine scope and estimating needs.
• Prepare material take-offs and estimates for detailing services.
• Create quotes and maintain bid documentation and revisions.
• Document scope changes and prepare ECNs for customer review.
• Coordinate with project teams to clarify requirements and tickets.
