Simply.TV is seeking a Streaming Data & Operations Analyst based in Mexico to own technical and data-related issues across streaming services. You will investigate data catalogs, feeds, and processes, diagnosing root causes and providing clear technical guidance.

The role emphasizes Python-driven analysis, use of AI tools, and direct client communication. You will collaborate with Streaming, Development, and Operations teams to prevent recurring problems and improve workflows.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Software Engineering, IT, or closely related field.
• Strong practical Python skills for data analysis, investigation, automation, or troubleshooting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with root-cause analysis.
• Solid understanding of data structures and how data moves between systems.
• Experience using AI tools with effective prompting for research and productivity.
• Ability to own technical problems from investigation to resolution.
• Clear communication of technical findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Confident client communication.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple investigations and priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership of streaming data issues from initial investigation through resolution.
• Investigate incorrect catalogs, feeds, data anomalies, failed processes, and other streaming-related issues.
• Identify root causes by analysing data, system behavior, logs, feeds, and workflows.
• Use Python to investigate, validate, manipulate, or troubleshoot data and processes.
• Resolve issues independently or elevate with a clear diagnosis and supporting information.
• Collaborate with Development, Operations, and Streaming teams to improve workflows.
• Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders, including clients.
• Document findings, solutions, and recurring problems to improve processes.
• Continuously learn Simply.TV’s streaming products and data architecture.
