Jabil is seeking a Technical Sourcing Manager to oversee supplier selection, BOM pricing, and part validation across design, NPI, and risk/cost reduction efforts. The role requires leveraging Jabil’s tools and processes to ensure correct deployment into the supply base with urgency.

The position collaborates with Design, NPI, and commodity teams to guide DFM/PPAP activities, negotiate with suppliers, and maintain production-ready part status while supporting multiple projects with possible

Competenze

• A Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Engineering or Supply Chain) with eight years or more of relevant experience.
• Masters degree in Supply Chain Management is preferred.
• Experience in supplier selection, DFM, PPAP is a plus.
• Travel up to 30% may be required.

Mansioni

• Manage BOM pricing as it evolves through design and mass production milestones.
• Resolve cost differences and supply chain impacts due to BOM changes, design shifts, and scope changes; provide explanations for unresolved issues.
• Solicit and coordinate supplier DFM recommendations and interpret feedback for product/process optimization.
• Manage the supplier selection process in alignment with commodity management.
• Accountable for supplier negotiations and risk mitigation as required.
• Provide guidance to buyers and maintain clean-to-build part status for all design phases.
• Drive Early Supplier Involvement.
• Support NPI projects with supply chain strategy and maintenance of qualified parts.
