Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Technical Sourcing Manager to oversee supplier selection and part validation for design, NPI, and risk/cost reduction. The role requires leveraging Jabil’s supply chain tools and processes to ensure correct deployment of components into the supply base, with flexibility for multiple projects and potential indirect reports.

The candidate should have a strong background in engineering or supply chain, extensive experience, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain with eight+ years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management is preferred.
• Advanced PC skills, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and communicate technical information.
• Ability to read and speak English; Ability to read 2D/3D drawings and GD&T guidance.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for BOM pricing evolution through design and mass production milestones.
• Lead supplier selection and risk mitigation aligned with commodity management.
• Solicit and coordinate DFM recommendations and supplier feedback for product/process optimization.
• Drive Early Supplier Involvement and support NPIs with a defined supply chain strategy.
• Guide qualification processes (DFM, FOT, PPAP, APQP) and ensure components are fully qualified for procurement.
