Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Supply Chain Design & Planning professional to drive strategy across procurement, planning, logistics, and design. You will own BOM costing for a key customer and lead cross-functional teams to deliver cost reductions and reliable supply.

Build relationships with customers and suppliers, develop product launch plans, and implement inventory programs while aligning with Jabil’s strategic goals and P&L considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Minimum of five years of related experience in SCM or business development.
• Certifications such as ASQ/CQE/CQM/CQA or ISO Lead Auditor desirable.
• Global experience is highly desirable.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Perform situational analysis to develop strategy across supply chain disciplines.
• End-to-end accountability for BOM costing strategy and process for a customer.
• Develop relationships to influence customers, suppliers, and stakeholders within Jabil.
• Provide leadership and strategic direction to teams involved in strategy creation and implementation.
• Ensure planning processes support revenue projections, inventory models, and supply chain flexibility.
• Develop and oversee product launch plans and transition plans between Jabil sites.
• Develops processes and tools for supply chain reporting (E&O, OTD, pricing).
• Implement inventory programs to optimize working capital.
• Communicate customer needs and align with cross-functional areas.
• Develop and deploy a quoting process to win new business.
• Identify ways to reduce cost and implement costing models.
• Negotiate favorable pricing, terms, and contracts with customers.
• Work with customer SCM & Design to align supplier selection strategies.
• Understand regulatory/compliance implications on supply chain design.
• Establish clear, measurable goals; solicit performance feedback.
• Understand Jabil and customer strategic direction; grasp P&L impacts.
