Job summary

Flint Hills Resources in Nogales, MX is seeking a procurement professional to manage local supplier relationships and drive cost-effective sourcing for the cable assembly segment. You will liaise with product development and cross-functional teams to optimize BOM costs and supplier contracts.

The role requires experience in aerospace/automotive/medical sectors, knowledge of QS/AS/IATF standards, and a proactive approach to risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Administration or Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience within Aerospace, Automotive or Medical Industries.
• Knowledge of QS/AS/IATF quality systems.
• Strong knowledge on local & global supply base; cost estimation familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Working with internal customers to identify and address unmet needs that align with procurement and business goals to deliver long-term value
• Partner with design teams to manage BOM cost through Product Launch
• Apply category strategies for new product sourcing needs
• Assist in implementing new sourcing/inventory strategies
• Proactive supply risk management in the NPD process
• Lead and manage change and transformational initiatives
• Communicate status updates to customers and suppliers
• Conduct RFIs/RFPs and bid analysis for lowest total cost of ownership
• Identify, source, select, and contract new product suppliers
