Amphenol TCS de México, S.A. de C.V. in Mexicali seeks a seasoned procurement professional to lead supplier development for cable/connector components across North America.

You will coordinate with quality and engineering to qualify suppliers, drive localization, and support strategic sourcing initiatives to localize supply chains. You will collaborate with global sourcing teams, conduct audits, manage risk, and negotiate contracts to ensure cost competitiveness and reliable service.

Formación

• BS degree in business, finance or technical/engineering discipline.
• 5+ years in supply chain development, sourcing, or procurement, preferably in the cable or electrical components industry.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle).
• Excellent communication, negotiation and project management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and evaluate potential cable/connector suppliers across North America.
• Conduct capability supplier assessments, audits and risk evaluations.
• Develop supplier qualification processes in coordination with quality and engineering teams.
• Support the localization of cable/connector supply.
• Collaborate with global sourcing teams to transition international to local suppliers.
• Lead performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure competitiveness and service reliability.
• Work with engineering, quality, logistics and procurement to align supplier capabilities with project requirements.
• Provide regular updates to leadership on supplier development progress and roadblocks.
• Monitor industry trends, raw material pricing and geopolitical risk that may impact supplier performance.
• Develop reports and presentations on supply chain development metrics and market opportunities.
