Job summary

Aspen Technology in Mexico City seeks a Category Manager to implement and monitor strategies for Subcontract Services and Development Services, contributing to CRA due diligence. Qualifications

• Technical or Business bachelor’s degree; master’s preferred
• 8–10 years of relevant work experience
• Strong knowledge of various Supply Chain methodologies and processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Leadership and People Management skills
• Strategic thinking
• Solid data analytics and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Execute spend data analysis to monitor changes in spending patterns
• Develop strategies to achieve supply chain goals regarding cost, risk management, and quality of services
• Benchmark rates for key roles using reputable data sources for rate negotiations
• Coordinate the new supplier’s prequalification process and approval
• Negotiate supply agreements with service providers to secure favorable terms
• Support the definition and identification of the “preferred” service suppliers
• Partner with project teams to develop long‑term relationships with preferred suppliers
• Coordinate and lead Supplier Business Reviews (SBR)
• Support the development of savings calculation methodologies for services
• Collaborate with other Category Managers to identify sourcing best practices
• Monitor the success of pre-established strategies and adjust as needed
• Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures
• Own CRA compliance and due diligence actions for assigned suppliers
