QUALCOMM SEMICONDUCTORES Y SISTEMAS AVANZADOS DE BAJA CALIFORNIA seeks a highly skilled Sourcing Specialist with an engineering background in semiconductors, especially in packaging and assembly. You will align RFQ/RFI/RFP processes with long‑term sourcing strategies and manage supplier relationships to improve cost, quality, and capacity.

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of sourcing or related work experience.
• Associate's degree and 4+ years of sourcing or related work experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of sourcing or related work experience.
• Advanced degrees may substitute for up to two years of work experience.

Responsabilidades

• Align RFQ submissions with long‑term sourcing strategies for semiconductor assembly and components.
• Lead end‑to‑end RFQ/RFI/RFP processes with supplier engagement and quote analysis.
• Manage supplier relationships and drive performance improvements in cost, quality, and capacity.
• Partner with package engineering, program management, and NPI teams to influence design and total cost of ownership.
• Drive cost‑reduction initiatives and supplier negotiations.
• Perform industry benchmarking and competitive analysis to build strategic supplier relationships.
• Conduct cost analysis and should‑cost modeling to support sourcing decisions.
• Develop tools (Excel / Scripts / Macros) to automate data extraction and standardize calculations.
• Ensure RFQ quote analysis uses validated data sources and enterprise systems like Oracle.
