QUALCOMM SEMICONDUCTORES Y SISTEMAS AVANZADOS DE BAJA CALIFORNIA is seeking a Highly skilled SOURCING Specialist with an engineering background in semiconductors. The role focuses on packaging, assembly, and contract manufacturing, coordinating with suppliers to optimize costs and performance.

You will lead RFQ/RFI/RFP processes, manage supplier relationships, and collaborate with engineering and NPI teams to influence design and total cost of ownership. Strong data tooling skills are valued.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years in Sourcing or related work experience.
• Associate's degree with 4+ years in Sourcing or related work experience.
• High School Diploma with 6+ years in Sourcing or related work experience.
• Advanced degrees may substitute for up to two years of experience.

Mansioni

• Align RFQ submissions with long-term sourcing strategies for semiconductor assembly, bump, substrates, and passive components.
• Lead end-to-end RFQ/RFI/RFP processes, including supplier engagement and quote analysis.
• Manage supplier relationships and drive performance improvements in technology, cost, quality, and capacity.
• Partner with package engineering, program management, and NPI teams to influence design and optimize total cost of ownership.
• Drive cost-reduction initiatives and supplier negotiations.
• Perform industry benchmarking and competitive analysis to build strategic supplier relationships.
• Perform detailed cost analysis and should-cost modeling to support sourcing decisions.
• Develop tools (Excel / Scripts / Macros) to automate data extraction and standardize calculations.
• Ensure RFQ quote analysis is based on validated data sources using Oracle.
