Hitachi Energy Productos de Mexico is seeking a Procurement / Material Planning Specialist to drive timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials. You will coordinate with multiple groups and lead resolution of purchasing challenges to support sustainable energy solutions.

In this role you will manage P2P for MRP controllers, ensure inventory availability, perform ABC/XYZ material segmentation, and collaborate with suppliers to drive savings. SAP MM/PP experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, or related field.
• Experience with SAP MM and PP modules.
• Exposure to high-volume, high-mix environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage Procure-to-Pay (P2P) for relevant MRP controllers.
• Ensure inventory availability to meet forecasted demand.
• Segment materials via ABC/XYZ analysis and define inventory policies.
• Collaborate with suppliers and category managers to optimize costs.
• Maintain inventory parameters and replenishment strategies in SAP.
• Monitor and control the P2P process, including escalation/expediting.
• Support Sales and Operations Planning processes.
• Partner with suppliers to align material forecasting and improve on-time delivery.
