Hitachi Energy Productos de Mexico is seeking a Procurement / Material Planning Specialist to manage timely and cost-efficient purchasing of materials, coordinating with internal teams and suppliers to ensure smooth operations and sustainable energy solutions.

The candidate will oversee P2P processes, maintain inventory parameters, and contribute to Sales and Operations Planning, with SAP MM/PP experience and a degree in purchasing or planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with up to 2 years of purchasing/planning experience.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems in MM and PP modules is preferred.
• Exposure to high volume, high mix environments is advantageous.
• Experience in operations or supply chain in electrical equipment manufacturing is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Manage Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes for relevant MRP controllers.
• Ensure inventory availability to meet forecasts and optimize on-time delivery.
• Segment materials via ABC/XYZ analysis and define inventory policies.
• Collaborate with suppliers and category managers to optimize costs and drive savings.
• Maintain inventory parameters and replenishment strategies in SAP.
• Monitor and control P2P processes, including escalation and expediting.
• Support and lead Sales and Operations Planning activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers to align material forecasting and improve delivery performance.
