KONE is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator in Mexico City to manage procurement for MRO supplies. You will monitor requisitions, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure purchase order accuracy and policy compliance.

The role requires 4+ years as a Sr Buyer, strong SAP MM and Excel skills, and advanced English. You will support cross-functional teams to secure favorable pricing and reliable supplier performance.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Relations or related field and at least 4 years as a Sr Buyer in MRO procurement.
• Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, market trends and supplier management.
• Proficient in SAP Materials Management and Excel (pivot tables).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor purchase requisitions for compliance with preferred suppliers and data accuracy.
• Assist requestors to identify right suppliers; clarify prices and terms via framework agreements.
• Track order confirmations and update POs; follow up overdue GR postings with management.
• Clarify invoice matching deviations and collaborate with purchasing admins and stakeholders.
• Handle supplier issues day-to-day and escalate as needed; ensure policy compliance.
• Monitor automated processes across supply lines and manage exceptions.
• Ensure compliance with KONE policies, quality, safety and environmental standards.
