Job summary

Pentair in Reynosa, Mexico, is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate daily and weekly production schedules across multiple value streams. You will collaborate with Production, Materials, Purchasing, and Order Management to ensure on-time deliveries and optimal inventory levels.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field and at least 3 years of production planning experience, with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, QAD, or Oracle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Production Planning, Production Scheduling, Master Scheduling, Materials Planning, or Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; SAP, QAD, Oracle, or similar systems preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to identify constraints, prioritize requirements, and adapt to changing production needs.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment with Production, Materials, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Order Management teams.
• Fluent English (excellent written and oral communication skills) required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and adjust daily and weekly production schedules based on demand, backlog, material availability, capacity, and inventory.
• Coordinate with Production Managers to align schedules with short- and long-term requirements and capacity constraints.
• Support Master Production Schedule (MPS) execution and ensure alignment between demand and manufacturing capabilities.
• Release, prioritize, and sequence manufacturing orders based on production requirements and material availability.
• Monitor capacity, material availability, and shortages to identify constraints and adjust schedules proactively.
• Communicate production priorities and schedule changes to key stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Participate in SIOP/S&OP and continuous improvement activities to improve flow and scheduling effectiveness.
