MKS Inc. in Nogales, Sonora, is seeking a Purchaser to plan, schedule and monitor material movement through production cycles, evaluate vendor reliability, and consolidate contracts for cost-effective purchasing.

This role will develop new supply sources, maintain inventory, and collaborate with operations to ensure stock aligns with production output. The position reports to the Sr Purchasing Supervisor and operates in a professional office/manufacturing environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• CPIM and/or APICS certification preferred.
• 2+ years of related experience.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, schedule and monitor material movement through the production cycle.
• Evaluate vendor reliability and develop solutions in case of material shortages.
• Monitor cost and consolidate contracts to create cost-effective purchasing models.
• Develop new supply sources to keep operations stocked and able to generate output.
• Maintain inventory and collaborate with operations to ensure appropriate stock.

Educación

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

CPIM/APICS certification
