TE Connectivity in Tijuana, Mexico is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst II to identify efficiencies, reduce expenses, and improve service across the supply chain. You will support supplier selection and manage POs with SAP, while coordinating with teams in Mexico and the U.S.

Responsibilities include maintaining supplier master data, tracking deliveries, and driving inventory optimization. A 3+ year background in purchasing/procurement in manufacturing and full bilingual capabilities are required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Minimum 3 years in Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain roles.
• Experience in manufacturing environment.
• Strong procurement, supplier management, and inventory control knowledge.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Create, release, monitor, and maintain purchase orders based on business and MRP requirements.
• Manage supplier communications, confirmations, acknowledgments, and delivery commitments.
• Follow up daily with suppliers to ensure on-time material deliveries and resolve shortages proactively.
• Track overdue orders, expedite critical materials, and coordinate recovery plans when delivery risks arise.
• Analyze and resolve supply-demand imbalances, procurement exceptions, invoice holds, and order discrepancies.
• Maintain purchasing and supplier master data accuracy within SAP.
• Participate in engineering change implementations (ECO/ECN), supporting product transitions while minimizing obsolete inventory.
• Drive inventory optimization initiatives through order adjustments, cancellations, and inventory reduction strategies.
• Support revenue-critical customer orders by identifying and mitigating material shortages.
• Lead supplier escalations related to delivery, quality, capacity, or pricing concerns.
• Collaborate closely with Planning, Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams across Mexico and the United States.

What your background should look like

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Materials Management, or a related function.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, inventory control, and material flow.
• Experience utilizing ERP systems; SAP experience is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience as a Buyer, Purchasing Specialist, Material Planner, Procurement Analyst, or Supply Chain Analyst.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Strong sense of urgency and ownership when addressing supply constraints and delivery risks.
• Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders.
• Available to travel occasionally to support business needs and supplier relationships.
