TE Connectivity is seeking a strategic sourcing professional in Hermosillo to drive key sourcing initiatives and negotiate contract terms. You will develop supplier footprints, collaborate with stakeholders, and maximize cost savings while managing supplier relationships.

Requirements include 7–10 years in manufacturing, a engineering or business degree, and fluent English. SAP and MS Office proficiency are essential for success in this hybrid role located in Hermosillo.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
• 7–10 years of direct experience in a large manufacturing company.
• English language skills in speech and writing.
• Experience with SAP.
• Strong MS Office knowledge including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills across all levels and suppliers.
• Action oriented with accountability and change drive.
• Ability to manage supplier and internal stakeholder relationships.

Responsabilidades

• Negotiations with suppliers and internal customers on strategy and total cost of ownership.
• RFQ and benchmark activity.
• Drive KPI improvements including STR, DLPM, supplier consolidation and lead time reduction.
• Lead in supplier negotiations and selection.
• Subject matter expert on commodity issues such as part qualification, quality, delivery, cost and development.
• Drive new supplier development focused on best total cost of ownership.
• Ensure lowest upfront cost via supplier and technical selection.
• Collaborate with BU Engineering on supplier selection and cost reduction via VA/VE and OMP.
• Drive innovation and build supplier strategic relationships.
• Maintain accurate system data and identify supplier risks with mitigations.

Job Requirements

• Establishing mid-term and long-term strategic commodity plans, developing supplier footprint, and setting up the integrated supply chain to improve sourcing competitiveness.
• Collaborating with multiple stakeholders to maximize global leverage, identify savings opportunities, and develop cost-competitive suppliers.
• Managing supplier relationships, ensuring the achievement of supplier commitments, and executing strategies based on market and technology trends.
• Researching the current innovations, trends, and developments in the industry and recommending the best practices and suggestions.

Primary Responsibilities, Tasks & Deliverables

• Negotiations with suppliers and internal customers on the strategy and best total cost of ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering or Business Administration
• 7 to 10 yearsof direct experience working at a large manufacturing company
• Englishlanguage skills in speech and writing
• Experience working withSAP
• Strong working knowledge ofMS-Officesuch asExcel and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills demonstrated by the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and with suppliers
