Job summary

General Motors in Mexico City is seeking a Business Planner/Finance Associate to support the Functional Leader and run the business planning process. You will manage assignments aligned with priority goals, develop project business cases, and analyze execution against the Functional Business plan.

The role requires advanced English, 3–4+ years of experience, and strong organizational and proactive skills. The position is hybrid, with travel up to 25% and not eligible for relocation benefits.

Responsibilities

• Support Functional Leader in organizing the business (staff meetings, special assignments).
• Execute the portfolio/business planning process.
• Plan assignments with priorities and requirements for complex projects.
• Develop and maintain project business cases (deliverables, benefits, timing).
• Analyze execution vs. the Functional Business plan and provide insights.
• Interpret data and recommend solutions to complex problems.
• Manage budgets and execute the competitive assessment process.
• Collect and analyze operating metrics for the group.
• Handle various special assignments and present to management levels.
• Develop and conduct presentations for all management levels.
