Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in Ciudad Juárez seeks a skilled Buyer Planner to manage the complete procurement cycle, from requisitions to final payment processing, to support manufacturing demands. You will analyze SAP demand requirements, generate POs, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining cost efficiency.

Bilingual English/Spanish is required. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 6+ years in purchasing roles, and advanced SAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years in buyer planner, purchasing, or supply chain roles.
• Strong purchasing, supplier management, negotiations, inventory, and demand planning experience.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP.
• Bilingual: English and Spanish (≥80% English).

Responsibilities

• Manage complete procurement cycle from requisitions to final payment.
• Analyze SAP demand requirements and generate purchase orders.
• Execute SAP messages for pull-ins, push-outs, shortages, and cancellations.
• Review forecasts to identify demand fluctuations and trends.
• Maintain uninterrupted material flow to support production.
• Negotiate supplier contracts, pricing, terms, warranties, and service.
• Develop supplier relationships and monitor performance.
• Drive inventory reduction while meeting On-Time Delivery.
• Support cost-reduction efforts in freight, tooling, and materials.
• Monitor supply chain metrics and report on OTD, open orders, and MRBR.
• Support ECN/NPI implementation and report nonconforming products.
