Job summary

API Delevan, Inc. in Apodaca, Nuevo León, Mexico is seeking a Buyer/Planner III to manage purchasing for materials, components, and services, ensuring availability, cost competitiveness, quality, and on-time delivery through strong supplier management and negotiation.

You will create and follow up on POs, review production needs, monitor deliveries, and support inventory optimization. A Bachelor's degree with 3+ years' experience, SAP, and strong Excel skills are required to work with suppliers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field, preferably Industrial Engineering or Business Administration.
• 3+ years of experience in Purchasing / Procurement, Supply Chain, Materials Planning or Supplier Management.
• Experience with SAP and ERP/MRP systems.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Fluent English for supplier and global team communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage the purchasing process for materials, components, services, and supplies required by the operation.
• Create and follow up on Purchase Orders (POs).
• Review requirements and delivery dates based on production needs.
• Ensure timely material availability to prevent operational disruptions.
• Monitor open purchase orders and supplier delivery commitments.
