Emerson is seeking a procurement professional to drive cost reduction and supply base optimization for equipment, machinery, and inputs. You will develop strategies, manage POs, and ensure timely availability of materials for the IDM warehouse and other departments.

The role requires 4+ years in a related buying role, a Bachelor’s degree in Administration/International Business/Engineering, and fluent English (B2). International travel with USA visa is possible.

Formación

• 4+ years as an equipment, machinery, and inputs buyer
• Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, International Business or Engineering
• English: Fluid English (B2)
• Ability to travel internationally (USA-VISA)

Responsabilidades

• Pursuing continuous improvements in cost, lead time, quality, commercial terms and logistics costs.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies focused on cost reduction, supply base optimization, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.
• Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring all commercial terms, technical specifications, and payment conditions are documented to support efficient procurement activities.
• Proactively monitor purchase orders to ensure supplier on time deliveries are met and materials and services are available on time for the IDM warehouse and other departments.
• Maintain and control procurement systems to ensure compliance with KPIs and Service Level goals (SLs).
• Proficient in MS Office.
