Xylem is seeking a motivated Buyer to support operations across North America, focusing on procurement execution, supplier management, and inventory planning. The role requires collaboration with Planning, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Finance to ensure timely procurement of materials and services.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Materials Management, Planning, Operations, or related function.
• Strong Excel skills including data analysis, pivots, reporting.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment based in Monterrey, Mexico.

Responsabilidades

• Procurement Execution: Create, manage, and monitor purchase orders for site and branch needs; follow up on acknowledgments, pricing, and shipments; support RFQ activities.
• Supplier Coordination: Maintain relationships with suppliers; resolve delivery, quality, or commercial issues; monitor performance.
• Planning and Inventory: Collaborate with Planning and Operations to ensure material availability; monitor inventory, lead times, and shortages; identify improvements.
• Internal Customer Support: Understand manufacturing and internal requirements; act as procurement contact for PO status and inquiries; support cross-functional teams.
• Data Analysis and ERP: Use Excel and ERP systems to analyze purchasing and supplier performance; prepare reports and support process improvements.
• ERP and Systems: Execute purchasing in SAP; maintain records; support data integrity and system improvements.
