Job summary

Xylem Monterrey is seeking a motivated Buyer to support our manufacturing site and branch network across North America. You will execute purchasing activities, ensure material availability, maintain supplier relationships, and collaborate across planning, operations, engineering and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• 1–2 years in supply chain, procurement or planning.
• Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Proficient English communication, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and monitor purchase orders for site and branch needs.
• Support RFQ activities by obtaining supplier quotations and comparisons.
• Monitor inventory levels, lead times, and shortages; identify improvements.
• Collaborate with Planning, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Finance.
• Prepare procurement reports and support continuous improvement initiatives.
