Jabil, a global engineering and manufacturing solutions provider, seeks a skilled procurement professional to manage MRP and optimize materials cost. You will develop supply chain strategies, collaborate with Purchasing and SCM, and drive supplier performance improvements across materials and sourcing activities.

The role emphasizes negotiation, cost reduction with strategic suppliers, and alignment with customer needs while ensuring compliance with company terms and safety policies.

Responsabilidades

• Develop supply base and Supply Chain strategies that are unique to customer or for Business Unit Strategic materials.
• Collaborate with Purchasing manager and SCM to determine the best approach to meet the customer needs.
• Influence customer’s supply chain strategies to leverage those of Jabil.
• Communicate Jabil expectations to the suppliers.
• Conduct supplier audit / visits, certifications, and performance reviews to develop and continuously improve supply base.
• Quote new and existing materials; re-quote and negotiate to reduce costs.
• Make sourcing decisions based on total cost and benefits including price, duty, freight, and terms.
• Negotiate terms & conditions protecting Jabil's and customers' interests.
