North American Production Sharing, Inc. is seeking an Operations Cost Accountant to ensure product cost accuracy and support manufacturing operations through cost analysis, BOM validation, ECO/ECN impact assessments, and variance analysis.

The role collaborates with Engineering, Production, Planning, Purchasing, and Supply Chain to reflect standard costs under operating conditions and provide actionable insights for inventory management and financial reporting.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Over five years of cost accounting experience within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and cost accounting concepts.
• Experience with inventory management and product costing in SAP ERP.
• Ability to efficiently manage large datasets and analytical results.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in financial modeling and dashboard development.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and SAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
• Advanced proficiency in English is required

Responsabilidades

• Review BOMs to ensure product cost accuracy.
• Validate component quantities, costs, scrap factors, units, and conversions.
• Perform analyses related to ECOs/ECNs.
• Coordinate changes with Engineering, Production, and Planning.
• Lead NPI costing and profitability analyses.
• Cost roll-ups to validate changes in materials/processes.
• Analyze cost variances and factors affecting product costs.
• Prepare variance reports for Operations and Finance.
• Develop KPIs and dashboards for cost trends.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain on raw material costs.
