Munters is seeking a Cost Accountant to join our team and support financial analysis and business decision-making in a manufacturing environment. You will analyze costs, monitor profitability, and ensure accuracy of financial information in line with accounting standards.

You will collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain to provide insights, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support the company’s financial and operational goals.

Formación

• Proven cost accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Strong financial analysis and variance analysis skills.
• Understanding of COGS and cost of goods sold dynamics.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze COGS and explain variances between actual, budget and forecasts.
• Analyze cost absorption for materials, direct labor, and overhead.
• Monitor and evaluate product profitability and identify opportunities.
• Prepare and analyze Sales and COGS reports by business unit.
• Review and validate sales prices and transfer pricing for intercompany transactions.
• Analyze Bills of Materials (BOM) and assess their impact on costs.
• Support month-end closing including warranties, obsolescence, and royalties.
• Analyze Purchase Price Variances (PPV) and inventory adjustments.
• Lead annual standard cost update processes.
• Participate in annual budget and forecasts for manufacturing costs and inventory.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to provide insights.
